I am sure you know what a flea market is. You don’t? Well, does a garage sale sound more familiar? It is practically the same thing, but while a garage sale is a private event where only you sell your own stuff, the flea market is a get-together which everybody can take part in. This public display and sale of personal belongings has to be planned and announced in advance and it normally starts at the break of dawn.

Don’t get too excited, though! Nor do you need to worry about it. NASA is not involved whatsoever. We are not going to the moon; at least not yet. ‘Our’ Orion is considerably more innovative than the spacecraft commissionned by NASA in the 70s.
At prizeotel we are always on the lookout for better, faster, easier. Our focus is the well-being of our guests. With that in mind we were enthusiastic as the company ASSA ABLOY Hospitality GmbH approached us and presented us with their brand new energy management system Orion by VingCard. As you can imagine, our delightment as technic freaks was immense. Orion has now a showroom of its own:

As of the beginning of March prizeotel hosts the main live sport events. You can watch them on a big screen in the lounge area of our lobby. Be it volleyball, rugby, box, armwrestling or, of course, football, I am sure there’s definitely something interesting you would like to watch. You can find a comprehensive Sky Sports programme here.
If you haven’t heard of Sky before, this is a German media concern that broadcasts live events, films and series in high definition. Further information here.
Ich habe es bisher aber nur bis zum Restaurant Amoroso geschafft. Und auch wenn es nicht um schöne, mannhafte Statuen ging, oder um Brunnen, wo sich alle Wünsche verwirklichen lassen: Eines hat mich nach Italien gebracht: das Essen!
Haben sie schon mal richtig Lust gehabt, leckeres italienisches Essen zu geniessen, aber Vapiano war zu weit weg oder einfach zu Mainstream? Dann habe ich den Geheimtipp für sie! Amoroso liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zu prizeotel. Ich war richtig gespannt, als ich angerufen habe, um einen Tisch für zwei Personen zu bestellen. An dem Abend hat es aber leider nicht geklappt, da meine Begleitung absagen musste. Durch die Wartezeit ist meine Begeisterung aber nur noch angestiegen. Nach kurzer Zeit hat mich eine sehr gute Freundin aus Osnabrück besucht und wir sind einfach spontan ins Amoroso gegangen.
